W.A.L.T Use the new figures of speech we have learnt.
Today for writing we were able to make up a story. But we had to include similes, alliteration and hyperbole. Here is my story! Can you spot my simile, alliteration and hyperbole?
Lost in the woods…
My name is Lexi. I live in a house with my Mum, Dad and my Obnoxious brother Axl, Axl is as annoying as a 2 year old and as loud as an Elephant! One day my Dad says let's go for a walk! I said Okay! We all agreed to go for a walk except Axl (as usual) but it wasn't really his choice. We grabbed our drink bottles and we went to the forest.
Everything is going well so far. As we walk across a crooked, cold, creepy path I feel a shiver run down my spine. I saw a bench so I sat down. ´Mum , Dad´ Where are you? I said, They were GONE. I noticed something weird in the trees, Anyone here? I said twice and got no response…
As I approached the tree I noticed something on the right hand side of the tree. It was a mini door. There was that shiver again. I felt like something or someone was watching me. Hello, Anyone here? I said as my voice was cracking and shaking.
I got close to the door very slowly. I kick the door something telepathically says: GO AWAY OR ELSE.. Or else what? I said. It said again GO AWAY OR ELSE… This time it was dark, cold, and mysterious not to mention creepy. The shiver up my spine was getting stronger and so was the wind.
I started shaking. I ran, ran and ran as fast as I could and I never EVER went back…
The End.
