Today for writing we had to write a blog comment on someones blog, I chose Dakotas blog. The reason I chose Dakotas blog is because I liked how she was sharing her comment she wrote on Emilees blog. I liked how Dakota was Positive, thoughtful, and helpful, Kai Pai Dakota!

Here is the comment I wrote on Dakotas blog, Hope you like it!

Kia Ora Dakota, My name is Lexi from New Brighton Catholic school. I like how you were positive too Emilee and giving her some helpful feed back, Kai Pai. Maybe next time you could explain more about what your doing :)

Today we had to do a 15 minute quick story inspired by this picture! 

Here is my story! Hope you like it :)

The fierce, frightening Zoo! 

One day I was walking to the brilliant,big zoo with brave and courageous staff feeding the fierce, frightening animals, We had to stay a metre away from all animals at all times even the fast, friendly and foolish farm animals. As I was walking up to the Zoo not knowing what would be waiting for me on the other side, One man yells ´´There making a run for it!, another man yells  ´Watch out´´ As their driving to me I scream at the top of my lungs ´´ Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!´ I quickly jump out of the way I see a van with animals inside and on the top! as they zoom of into the distance. ´Ím gonna get a glass of cold, cold water´I said  Completely ignoring what I had just seen. The animals were never seen again and the Zoo got shut down. The End

Barry is a bunny but a brilliant one he buries  bones and likes to have fun, he loves bananas and baseball and bright sunny days he hopes that his broken beaten baseball hat will get fixed some time today!

Emma Twigg!

 Emma Twigg! 

Today we had a special V.I.P come to NBC her name is Emma Twigg,  Emma is a Olympic gold medallist in the single scull rowing! Emma represents New Zealand and we are so lucky to have Emma Twigg come to join us today we sang the national anthem and  a wonderful performance of the kapahaka .  Emma  talked about that if you have a dream you should never give up. Emma inspired us to reach our impossible and follow our dreams nothing is impossible if you work hard enough never give up!

Tokyo Olympics! White hat reflection!

In room 1 and 2 we have been learning about the Tokyo Olympics, I made a google drawing thinking about the information about the Olympics! Here is my white hat reflection, Hope you like it! 

Syria

 W.A.L.T Understand where Syria is.

In Room 2 we have been learning about Syria and the war that started in 2011. We went on google maps and we were told to find Syria,Damascus, Homs on google maps. Damascus is the capital of Syria! We have been looking at the amazing traditional clothing and dances. We had to make a google drawing about Syria and all the different places! Here is mine:)
