W.A.L.T Write Haiku's

In room 2 we have been learning about Haiku's. A Haiku is a type of poem. A haiku poem only has three sentences. In the first line you have to make a sentence with five syllables
next line with seven, and the last line is five again. The topic we focused on are autumn leaves! There are lots of different colours for example Hazel,Amber, scarlet, crimson can you think of any others? Here is my Haiku hope you like it!

 The leaves are crunchy,

We love the autumn  leaves,

They are awesome!

Did you sound out the syllables    ?

  1. Hi Lexi, my name is Emily and I am a student at NBC
I really liked your blog post, especially the haiku. This actually brought me back to when I had to write a haiku last year, it was so fun!. Next time you could write a reflection. Another colour that leaves in autumn is a light green. What was your favourite part about writing the haiku?

  2. Hi Lexi I really enjoyed reading your haiku poem. Net time you should think about your syllables and checking if they are in the right order.
Do you have a favourite haiku poem.
