How Maui found his father and the magic Jawbone.

Maui

Maui was happy cause he Just had Just found his mother Taranga. But two things bothered him who was his father? and where did his mother go during the day?. One night Maui caught his mother going out he did not say anything his mother jumped in a hole and Maui jumped after her when Maui hit the ground he saw his mother and a man sitting under a tree Maui shape shifted into a cheeky pigeon and flew up on the tree and started dropping cherrys on their heads the people of the underground world started throwing rocks at Maui. Maui  fell off the tree and shape shifted back into a human as soon as the man looked at Maui he knew he was his son the father took him over to a enchanted waterfall and put water over his head and said this will grant you ever lasting life  but the father was sad cause he knew one day that water would one day cost Maui his life. The end


The Jawbone
Maui gives his grandfather food every day and one day Maui came up with a plan to get the magical Jawbone.he went to  his grandfather and asked for the Jawbone his grandfather said No! the Jawbone holds great power so every day he would come back and asked and whenever  the grandfather said No Maui would keep hiding his food one day the grandfather gave in and said i will give you the Jawbone you shall tame the sun find the secret of fire and fish up land but do not defy hine the Godess of death or you will surley die Maui felt the power  from the power of the Jawbone Maui said i will tame the sun i will find the secret of fire i will even defy death.The end thanks for reading myths and legends.

  1. Hi Lexi you have been busy with your writing. What a cheeky pigeon that was. Next time can you put in some full stops. This would make it easier to read. Keep up the good work.

    what a great piece of writing. I loved the way you used question marks in the first paragraph and the detail that you have included. Next time, read the story out load and try and put in some full stops.
