W.A.L.T Follow the technology design process!
In room 2 we have been doing technology but not like iPad's and phones, its a design process. Our project is to create Christmas decorations for our School library! Here is a photo of my brainstorm. The theme is Catholic Christmas we had to think about who needs the decoration, What is it, why do they need it?

Today after we had finished our slides we have to choose a question we found difficult! I picked this question:
936 + 780 + 205 =
The way I figured this out is I did 700+200= I got 900 I added up the rest of the numbers. Here is the question and the answer I got,
936 + 780 + 205 = 1921!
What answer did you get?
W.A.L.T Reflect on our experience!
Today at NBC Kadoo people came, they brought drums and lots of people got to go up and have a turn. I had a turn on the drum it was awesome, I really enjoyed it! It also had lots to do with African culture it seems very important to them, like a tradition. Here is a photo of our outstanding experience:

On Friday the 21st of October Room 2 went to the Bromley dump. We had lots of fun learning and doing different stations. We even made a compost, Georgina was our instructor she taught us how to make a compost. We got to hold a worm each it felt a bit slimy. We did this because we have been learning about our environment.
We had to get into groups and we all had a yellow bin (recycling) with waste (trash) in it we had a big long strip of paper and it had lables. We sorted the trash to the labels and see if everyone had the waste where its supposed to be!
Some parents also came like Jackie, Shelley & Sarah and they helped lots.
Im grateful we got to go to the dump I think it was a great experience!

If the Earth could talk what would it be saying? Olive and I made a google drawing about what are some problems. Pope Benedict said that if the Earth could talk what would it say?

W.A.L.T Identify prior knowledge!
Today Room 2 created a KWL (What we know, what we think we know, and what we want to learn) The KWL is about something serious we think is happening in the world right now I made mine about car pollution, its about electric cars the thing is are they just as bad as the cars we use today? lithium batteries are very dangerous and once they have been used you cant get rid of them which means more waste for the planet! Here is my KWL hope you like it.
